Reminder | Immunization Requirements
This message has been updated. The update pertains to vaccines available through the Orange County Department of Health. The OCDOH has VFC vaccines only and cannot vaccinate insured children. The corrected message is reflected below.
Hello NECSD families,
All students entering or attending school in New York State, including remote school attendance, are required to be immunized by New York State Public Health Law Section 2164.
Any child missing the required immunizations must provide proof that the immunizations have been received or the child will not be allowed to attend school beginning September 19, 2024.
Please contact your child's healthcare provider if your child is missing immunizations. VFC vaccines for uninsured students are also available through the Orange County Department of Health.
